The Broeinest (breeding ground/hotbed for underground activity) is a space at the Plantage Doklaan hosting political info-nights on diverse political issues. Every Monday evening, you have the opportunity to learn about what's going on in Amsterdam and the world, through a varied programme with different speakers, films, discussions and announcement about future events and actions. At the end of every evening, the bar opens for drinks, after-thoughts and talks with speakers and participants.

The initiative to organise Broeinest evenings was taken by individuals active in Flexmens, A SEED Europe, EYFA en Solidariteitsfonds XminY. However, the evening programme is independent from these organisations and anyone interested to join the project is very welcome. The Broeinest organising team, for example, does not intend to fill every evening with its own activities but also wants to offer this political space to others, to publicise campaigns or start political discussions. So, stop consuming, become active and contact us!
