For some time now several experts predict the financial system is about to break down. Mon October 22: Communicating campaigns successfully

How do we reach the right people to organise mass action against injustice at the local and national level? This question arose when the racist police raids in de Bijlmer on 16 June this year resulted in the Campaign to Stop Police Raids (see www.allincluded.nl) but did not trigger mass protest and outrage about this and other police actions.

Mo 3 September: The university as laboratory of resistance

How was it possible that the biggest elite university of the US became the centre of student protests? The documentary 'Berkeley in the Sixties' (1990, 117 min.) tells the story of students who no longer did what was expected from them, Vietnam, feminist resistance, the weapons of the Black panthers, governor Ronald Reagan and finally the US army and a lot of teargas.

Mo 10 September: Migration is a right! Analysis and Action

Submitted by broei on Thu, 2007-08-30 20:20.

The EU violently “manages” migration at the global level by way of visa regimes, detention centres in and outside the EU, and military patrols at borders, resulting in thousands of migrants dying each year in and around the EU. Already in the 1980s, the left movement has analysed this development as an intrinsic part of “imperialism” and directly attacked the persons and institutions upholding this regime.

Mo 17 September: Practical evening - safe use of computers and internet

Submitted by broei on Thu, 2007-08-30 20:19.

The computer is becoming increasingly important in our daily lives. Almost every action is organised by searching the internet for information, writing press releases and other texts on computers and to e-mail with fellow activists and the press. It’s often very useful, but sometimes dangerous.
